Not car related but still a lot of smart people here. Well we had some strong wind today and the little guy didn't close the front storm door all the way. The outside door light broke (not too worried about). But the pumpy thingy that helps close the door pulled part of the door frame out, but not fully. Wondering if anyone have any ideas on how to securely reattach it without getting new frame.

House is totaled. Time to upgrade...
Hammer it back into place if it's nailed in. If it was screws, then pull the screws out, straighten the loose bit, and then make new holes and use new screws to reattach.

Can you post a picture of the damage? How much damage was done to the attachment point for the the gas charged cylinder (pumpy thingy)?

Sometimes you can use sheet-metal screws to hold broken storm door things together...

Might just be able to get away with longer or fatter screws.

Pumpy thingy = gas spring
Also, yeah just drill a small under-sized pilot hole somewhere else and use a sheet metal screw to drill through that hole into the door frame and fasten it to the wood behind it.

Drill all the way through the frame and bolt it through, hammer the "torn" area flat that the sheet metal screws went through.

If it's the wood door jamb that it pulled out of, you can repair it with Durhams Rock Hard Wood Putty. You mix it with water, and it does dry rock hard.
